I am currently a second year on the EngD in Medical Devices programme from the Biomedical Engineering Department, and graduated from the University of Sheffield with a BEng in Bioengineering in 2017. The title of my research project is 'Developing a modular neurotechnology'. The aim of this project is to develop a system of modular microfluidic blocks that can be assembled in a user defined manner to create bespoke in vitro models of functional neuronal networks and study disorders of the central nervous system.
