Paul Janin graduated in 2017 from the CentraleSupélec engineering school in France, with a master's degree in Physics and Optics for Materials. He is currently pursuing a 4 year PhD in photonics and engineering, working on the design of optical MEMS for the control of atom and ion traps. The aim of his project is to use high frequency MEMS devices for fast addressing of atom-scale particles.
